Finding the time.

Finding the time.

Finding the time. Seriously. I catch myself running in circles. Constantly trying to keep up. Making sure my house is clean. Meals are prepped. My goals are set. Getting in my workouts. To do’s done. Here at home. At my happy place. Finding time. To spend with my hubby. My kiddos. My friends. Wanting to build relationships better. Struggling with it all. But as I sit here realizing that there will never be enough time. Period.

May is such a crazy month every year. I know this yet still get that feeling of an out of body experience. I’m looking at myself and wondering why I’m not slowing down. I’m my worst enemy. Are you? Do you find yourself over analyzing your day of what you could have done better? Been a better wife. More patient mom. Took time out to read. Got in a longer workout. Prepped better. Did your hair. Cleaned your house. Gotten laundry done. Had time to chat with a friend. Made more of an effort to just do life better? Goodness am I there. Spinning in a crazy circle trying to figure out which end is up. Believe me. It’s true. I don’t have it all together. Never have. Never will.

I can honestly say that my relationship with my hubs is probably the only thing I feel like I do my best at. Who am I kidding?! I need to work on that too. You see. No matter what. We all just need a little more time. A little more work on self. A little more patience. A little more understanding. A little more love. Realizing that time. Well it’s constantly passing us by. And the more we regret. Feel disappointed. Are overwhelmed. Angry. Pissed off. Discouraged. Worry. You are chipping away at your precious time.

If there is anything I have learning through my journey. My story. Is that life is precious. We are all going through something. In the midst of something. How we chose to embrace what we are going through will either steal our time or prolong our joy. Your circumstances are part of it. Time. It’s a thief. Don’t allow it to pass by so quickly that you miss out. Those little moments should be embraced. Stop trying to find more time. It’s right in front of you now. Enjoy it.

I planned on writing something completely different today. Not writing for two weeks, I knew I needed the time off. To reflect. To rest. I love this part of my story. Writing. I just hope and pray that every word I type speaks to the heart of just one. I want this to be a place you can find encouragement. You find peace. You realize you are not alone. I’ve been there. Time and time again. Reseting. Restarting. Reevaluating. Recognizing. Time. That’s all we have. Let’s live every second. With pure joy. Grace. Love. Forgiveness. Hope. Strength. Happiness.
