Same ole’ stuff. Ugh. Allowing stress in. Not dealing with it correctly. Stress is always going up be apart of our life so why do we allow it to control us? I really thought I tracked mindfully, got workouts in, drank all the water but stepping on the scales “unofficially” I am up a pound. Showing me, my stressful week, did me in. Why? Because I allowed it too. Why am I allowing now to be so different than when I first started that September of 2016. Why?? I keep telling myself that I’m doing it all right when actually I am not. Not mindfully tracking, not being consistent, allowing slip ups, etc. I could go on and on. Ok. Sounds like I am being harsh on myself again. I’m not. Just learning that even if I think I have it all together I can not allow the little things to derail me. I am determined this year. THIS STINKING YEAR to get back to goal and stay there.

Saying that. I am realizing that this time around. Getting back to goal. Will not be easy. It will take more discipline. Hard work. Patience. Consistency. Grace. Knowledge. Strength. Self love. Sweat. Tears. Growth. Jesus. And you know what? I’m ready. Ready for the this back to goal journey. I’m in. Ready to take on all the hard things and smiling through it. Learning!! Soaking it all in. I want to know that even though I have gained. I have gained more than unwanted pounds, but gained knowledge in trusting in the process. Trusting in HIM!

How do you handle stress? Are you still doing the same ole’ stuff? How do we break this cycle. By letting go. Finally letting go of all that has held us down. The voices in our head telling us we can’t and we won’t. Looking at our reflection and not allowing negative thoughts to fill our mind. Saying no to all the things holding us back. Reevaluating where we are and where we want to be. Taking care of us. Loving the process. And simply letting go of old habits, feelings, and thoughts. One day at a time. It’s not easy. It’s something that we have to work on every second of every day. Entrusting is His grace to get us through. It will not be easy but SO WORTH IT.
